Final day of the training session

Design thinking and human-centered design became the theme of the final day of the training session.

The fifth day of the training session “Program to improve teaching skills (for pedagogical (scientific and pedagogical) employees of educational institutions), which was carried out within the Project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Buildingˮ) became final. The topic of the lesson was “Design Thinking and Person-Centered Design”. The coach was Oleksandr Kryzhanivskyi, an architect, PhD architecture, an expert consultant at the Center for Socio-Cultural Design of the International Human Rights Community.

Participants joyfully acquired practical skills in design thinking and human-centered design. The result of two days of work was the creation of a prototype of an educational product and its presentation.

After the completion of the training session program, the ceremonial part began. The Project Manager Vitalii Kurylo and the moderator Olena Karaman solemnly presented the participants with certificates of completion of the 30-hour training (1 ECTS credit) and thanked them for their fruitful work. They expressed hopes for further cooperation.

When discussing the results of the training, the Project participants assessed the training session as meaningful, interesting and very useful, because, thanks to active participation, it provided an opportunity to master the necessary knowledge, skills and design skills through various events and exercises: multimedia presentations, training videos, handout exercises, team work, online surveys using smartphones (Kahoot, Mentimeter). But the main result of the training was the development and presentation of our own product – a project in the education field.
