The team of the project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building” does not stop for a moment in the pursuit of the most successful performance of its tasks and the achievement of global goals. The next step was serious work on integration of Lubny city, Poltava region into the project of the educational space.
The fruitful result of this work was the signing on June 24, 2022 of the Memorandum on Cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Lubny City Council.
This was preceded by a meeting of members of the project team and representatives of the university with the local authorities of Lubny city, where the issues of consolidating resources and potential to obtain effective results in the development of the educational systems of the Lubny territorial community and the university, the location of part of the university’s divisions in Lubny city for the implementation of educational activities and integration into the educational space of the Lubny territorial community, mutually beneficial prospects for the development of the university and the education system of Lubny city were noted.
In a solemn atmosphere, the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and the Lubny City Council of the Lubny District of the Poltava Region, approved the day before by the city council’s body of deputies, took place, which was signed by the Rector of the University Olena Karaman and the Lubny Mayor Oleksandr Hrytsaenko.
On September 1, the university will start work in the city of Lubny, which gives grounds for confidence in the successful continuation of the project implementation.
