Participation in the “Study Tours to Poland” Program. Day 3

The University Rector Olena Karaman, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Yaroslava Yurkiv, and Valeriia Vasyk, a teacher of the Institute of Philology and Journalism, continue to participate in the “Study Tours to Poland” Program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. (17-23.03.2024).

The third day of the visit took place at the SGH Warsaw University of Economics, which is one of the best higher education institutions in the European Higher Education Area, and the Center for Veterans of Foreign Missions of the Ministry of Defense of Poland.

At the Warsaw University of Economics, Program participants got acquainted with the experience of organizing student initiatives, listened to reports on microcredentials: implementation and recognition; the procedure for recognition at SGH of qualifications and study results obtained at foreign higher education institutions; ensuring the quality of education: trends, practical experience and best practices and learned a lot about the Warsaw University of Economics SGH Warsaw School of Economics itself.

A round table was held at the Center for Veterans of Foreign Missions, at which the Support Group for Veterans of the Ministry of Defense of Poland and representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exchanged experience of complex work with war veterans and identified areas of cooperation.

The day ended with a friendly dinner, to which representatives of post-graduate education of Warsaw University Jolanta Sujecka-Zajac and Katarzyna Swiatkiewicz of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation were invited.

Also, students of Polish higher education institutions, citizens of Ukraine, presented the experience of student activity aimed at helping and restoring Ukraine in the conditions of the war and the post-war period.
