Regional meeting of the Councils of Young Scientists of Poltava region

On June 23, 2023, on the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Regional Meeting of the Councils of Young Scientists of Poltava region was held on the basis of the Department of Education and Science of Poltava region.

Since Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was relocated to Poltava and Poltava region after the events of 2014 and 2022, a representative of the university was also invited to participate in the meeting. So, this year, the meeting was attended by Olha Korinska, a lecturer at the Translation Studies Department, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Students of the LTSNU.

The meeting was attended by Olesya Vashchuk, head of the CYS under the MES, representatives of the CYS under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and representatives of the Department of Education and Science of the Poltava Oblast.

Agenda of the Regional meeting:

  1. Challenges and opportunities in the activity of councils of young scientists and young scientists in the Poltava region.
  2. Problems related to the support of scientific and scientific and technical activities in the country, commercialization and implementation / scaling up of developments.
  3. Projects of the CYS under the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, aimed at supporting and stimulating the scientific and scientific and technical activities of young scientists in wartime conditions.

Considerable attention was paid to the discussion of opportunities and challenges in the activity of councils of young scientists and young scientists of the Poltava region in particular.

Separately, the creation of an initiative group of the Council of Young Scientists under the Poltava Regional Military Administration was discussed, to which the head of the CYS, Olha Korinska, was nominated as a representative of the higher education institution relocated to the Poltava region.
