On April 22, the Open Championship of Ukraine among university students “Heroic Games of Students” was held on the territory of the “Swan Lake” fitness park in Kyiv.
Oleksandr Dubovoi, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, judge of the international category, Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class, member of the national team of Ukraine in 2023, became the main referee of the competition on the appointment of the Federation of the Strongest Athletes of Ukraine.
The senior lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine, international judge Volodymyr Dubovoi also joined the panel of judges.
The competition was held under the general leadership of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the aim of popularizing and increasing the prestige of this type of sport in higher education institutions, as a means of improving the health of broad sections of the population, widely involving student youth in physical education and sports, and determining the best teams of educational institutions.
During the official part of the competition, teachers of the ER IPES conducted career orientation work among participants, guests and fans regarding the admission campaign to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in the current year!
