The Department of Oriental Languages summarized the results of the Days of Science-2023.
In 2023, the Days of Science at the Department of Oriental Languages were celebrated during April. On April 5, a regular meeting of the Scientific Discussion Group of future Orientalists was held under the leadership of Ph.D., Assoc. N. Fedicheva, which was attended by students studying Chinese and Japanese, as well as their teachers.
From April 10 to April 17, the Faculty of Foreign Languages held competitions in Chinese, Japanese and translation. We sincerely thank all the participants for participating in these events, every step in learning is a step towards success. We proudly congratulate our winners: Derevyanko D. (1st year) and Yesakova S. (3rd year) in the Chinese language; Nizhnichenko V. (1st year) and Sayenko D. (2nd year), O. Ptahina (3rd year) and V. Yevteeva (4th year) in the Japanese language. Keep it up!
The annual international conference of the Department of Oriental Languages was held online on the Zoom platform on April 13. The conference was attended by scientists from Ukraine, China, the USA, Poland, Turkey, Peru, etc. Teachers and students of the Department of Oriental Languages also took an active part and made presentations.
On April 24, a meeting of the Youth Club of Eastern Cultures was held on the topic “Literature of the Far East countries “. M. Maksylevich (3rd year) prepared a report and presentation on the topic “Specificity of Tan stories about the extraordinary”, O. Zhuikova (3rd year) informed about the life and work of the “New Wave” writer Yu Hua, A. Nazarenko (2nd year) introduced the features of Japanese ranobe, D. Perepadya prepared an information on the peculiarities of Chinese folk tales. The meeting took place in the form of a discussion, everyone had the opportunity to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss specific features of Chinese and Japanese literature.
