As part of the Science Days, Academic Mobility and Cooperation Agreement, a scientific and sports quest-competition “Honor of the Sports Profession: a Step to Life Success!” was held.
On April 27, 2023, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, Associate Professor O.V. Otravenko) and the “Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy” of the Kharkiv Regional Council (Department of Physical Education and Sports Improvement, Prof. O.M. Shkola) held a joint scientific and sports quest-competition “Honor of the Sports Profession: a Step to Life Success!” online via the ZOOM platform. The competition was held in three rounds:
1st round – test tasks on the educational components of the professional cycle;
2nd round – homework (presentation or video up to 3 min. “My favorite sport”);
3rd round – round table “Professional training of physical culture and sports specialists in wartime conditions.”
16 participants took part in the competition, who prepared carefully and presented their scientific and practical achievements at a high level, which contributed to the improvement of the quality of the educational process, the assimilation by the students of a certain level and volume of knowledge, skills, and other competencies in accordance with the requirements of the EPP “Physical Culture”, specialty 014.11 “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)” of LTSNU, and “Physical Culture and Sports (Fitness)”, specialty 017 “Physical Culture and Sports” of the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy.
Among the participants of LTSNU, the leaders were: 4th-year student Kyrylo Ivanov, 3rd-year students: Bohdan Talalai and Valeriia Vorobyova.
Among the participants of the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy the best were: 2nd-year students Daria Kozlova, Iryna Kostyleva, Anastasia Sokol and Chornyi Andrii; 3rd year students Viktoriia Polous and Yurii Lesnikov.
All participants demonstrated a high professional level of knowledge and skills, were awarded diplomas and certificates.
