On May 4, 2023, a meeting of the Political and Legal Club “Analityka” was held.
As part of the event, students majoring in “Political Science”, “Sociology” and “International Relations” together with the teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, joined the online discussion by experts of the School of Political Analytics of the problem “BRICS – an alternative to the West?” International security in global and local dimensions”.
The questions for discussion were the following: Can it be assumed that the BRICS coalition will become an alternative opponent to the “collective West”? What interests within the BRICS countries are promoting and what benefits do they have from this format of interaction? What are the prospects for BRICS – with an emphasis on what exactly does not allow for increased cooperation? What global challenges unite these countries?
We thank the speakers for an interesting event and the opportunity to join the discussion.
