Advanced training courses at the Confucius Institute

Chinese language teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages have completed advanced training courses at the Confucius Institute.

From 19.06.2023 to 23.06.2023, teachers of the Department of Oriental Languages took advanced training courses “Synological studies in synchrony and diachrony” from the Confucius Institute of the Kyiv National Linguistic University.

Teachers of the Department of Oriental Languages of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the all-Ukrainian advanced training courses for Chinese language teachers, which were held on the basis of the Confucius Institute of KNLU from 19.06.2023 to 23.06.2023.

On June 19, a lecture “Basic approaches to defining the science of pre-modern China” was held by V. Kiktenko, president of the Ukrainian Association of Chinese Studies.

On June 20, they attended a lecture by candidate of philological sciences, associate professor I. Kostanda on the topic “Peculiarities of Chinese prose translation: synchronic and diachronic aspects.”

On June 21, they listened to the lecture “Artificial intelligence and the scientist: the problems of creating Chinese studies” by candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Y. Lyubimova and teacher O. Dalte

On June 22, they attended the lectures of candidate of philological sciences, associate professor K. Gevorgyan on the topic “Methodology of teaching translation (Chinese and Ukrainian) in educational institutions” and doctor of philological sciences, associate professor Yu Xin.

On June 23, Chinese language teachers from all over Ukraine took part in the final discussion “Actual Problems of Chinese Studies”.
