The Acting Rector Vitalii Kurylo paid a working visit to Rubizhne city.
On May 17, 2021, the Acting Rector Vitalii Kurylo paid a working visit to Rubizhne city to meet with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Vitrenko; meetings with representatives of the Rubizhne City Council; visits to structural subdivisions of the university; checking the implementation of repair work in the university educational building.
Thus, the visit began with a check on the reconstruction of the educational building of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, which is taking place within the framework of the project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”.
The next place to visit was the Separate structural subdivision Rubizhne College of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”. The director of the college Volodymyr Gorelik reported on the activities of the educational institution. Vitalii Kurylo met with students majoring in Informatics and visited the library.
They also visited the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies.
During a meeting with the first deputy mayor of Rubizhne city Dmytro Konov and the head of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Rubizhne City Council Kostiantyn Yaremenko those present discussed joint plans for the future.
At the end of the visit, a meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Vitrenko, at which Vitalii Kurylo presented him with the results of the work on the Project and introduced him to the structure and geography of the university, one of which is the Separate Structural Subdivision “Rubizhne College of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”. The guests also visited the information centers equipped thanks to participation in the international project “MoPEDˮ.
