Vitalii Kurylo, Chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, gave an interview for the information publication Free Radio.
Recently Vitalii Semenovych gave an interview to the information publication Free Radio, which is located in the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. During a conversation with a reporter, he spoke about the project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”, which our university won in the project competition “EU Support for Fisplaced Educational Institutions in the East of Ukraine”. “We offered our idea to the Europeans. We carefully prescribed the project, conducted a sociological study of people’s moods,” the scientist said.
During the conversation, Vitalii Semenovych told the essence of the project, which consists in conducting scientific work, trainings and seminars with the population. He also shared the first results of activities and plans for the future. So, nowadays, repair work is underway in the university dormitory in Rubizhne city. Among the planned activities is the creation of a network of training centers with different working directions. The project manager says: “There will be about 150 active participants in the project. We have already identified them. These are teachers and students-future teachers. And they will already work with a large number of people – parents, children”.
