The 1st stage of the initial sociological research within the framework of the EU project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of the Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building” has been completed.
In 2019, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University won a grant from the European Union for the implementation of the project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building.” The grant is being implemented jointly with the Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.
One of the first and priority tasks of the project was to conduct a primary sociological research to identify the level of conflict in the social environment of the Luhansk region through the eyes of teachers / lecturers and applicants for education, the willingness of teachers to influence the processes of reconciliation and peace-building.
Sociological research consists of two stages: 1) collection of primary sociological information (survey) using a questionnaire survey through the remote online technologies; 2) collection of primary sociological information (survey) by the method of focused group interviews with all groups of respondents (schoolchildren, university students, teachers and professors). The result of the first stage was the analysis and interpretation of the survey results and the formulation of conclusions, recommendations for solving further tasks of the project – the creation of Educational centers and the implementation of educational and psychological programs on their basis for teachers, pupils, students and the population of the Luhansk region.
Now the first stage of the primary sociological research has been completed, based on the results of which a REPORT has been prepared and published.
